Microwave
cooking was the focus at Hirsch Pietermaritzburg’s Domestic workers course this
month. Deidre Stemmet from Whirlpool showed the ladies how to make muffins,
chips, wors and puff pastry treats in the microwave. Deidre also gave the
ladies some tips on cleaning a microwave and encouraged them to clean the
machine right after use to avoid any splatters hardening and making it
difficult to clean. The ladies enjoyed the session once again and all of them
said they would be back next month. Hirsch’s host this course once a month in
store. For any enquiries please contact Victoria Laubscher on 033 3282700 or victoria@hirschs.co.za

HIRSCH CELEBRATES 25 YEARS IN PMB
Last
weekend Hirsch’s celebrated their 25th year in Pietermaritzburg. Once again the
Hirsch family did not disappoint customers with some amazing specials. The
store was also busy with activities and the different aromas from the various
promoters did not go unnoticed by customers. Children were kept
entertained with a jumping castle and face painting which allowed parents to
enjoy their shopping experience. Franki Bananaz were on hand mixing up some
cocktails and handing out food with their delicious platters. The Red Bull girls
kept the energy levels high giving staff and customers some Red Bull. ‘It is
really a huge accomplishment for the Hirsch Family to have maintained a high
level of service and great prices over the years - ensuring the
Pietermaritzburg publics needs are met in their homes always.” said happy
customer Marilyn Finch
