MICROWAVE COOKING COURSE AT HIRSCH PMB

Microwave cooking was the focus at Hirsch Pietermaritzburg’s Domestic workers course this month. Deidre Stemmet from Whirlpool showed the ladies how to make muffins, chips, wors and puff pastry treats in the microwave. Deidre also gave the ladies some tips on cleaning a microwave and encouraged them to clean the machine right after use to avoid any splatters hardening and making it difficult to clean. The ladies enjoyed the session once again and all of them said they would be back next month. Hirsch’s host this course once a month in store.
